Raised in the Texas Panhandle and raised in a family of outstanding musicians, Michael grew up with the outdoors and music in his heart. After 12 years as a US Marine and having the chance to hunt and play music all over the country, Michael returned back to his home in Texas and carried on his love for the outdoors, rodeo and music. After 10 years of Rodeo Bullfighting, 3 years with McCloy Rodeo Co., Michael hung up his Bullfighting gear and set his sites on music once again. His first single was written and recorded in 2008 with Phil Martin. Michael has recorded several of his songs Live including A Hero to Me, Margaritas on Sunday and Maybe. Most of his time is spent in the outdoors! Hunting, fishing and you name it, Michael does it! Michael is an avid bowhunter, waterfowl hunter and a supporter of the free American way of Life. He is the Hardlines Manager and District Archery Captain at Gander Mountain in Amarillo, Tx. and a member of the Real Avid Field Staff. Sherry Lynn Richardson was born and raised on a large farm and ranch south of Elida, New Mexico. At a young age Sherry learned to play the piano and became a great pianist. Learning also to play the fiddle and mandolin, Sherry was awarded the New Mexico State Fiddle Champion award in the early 80's. She met Michael on his 40th birthday and the rest is history. A great husband/wife team creating great music together.
David Smirl grew up in Borger, Texas and was Michaels best friend all through school. David, an accomplished state choir receipient, went on to college and became Amarillo's Tascosa High School Softball Coach and Government teacher. A father of 4 beautiful girls, David joined Michael in 2009 as his sound engineer and in 2010 became the percussionist and is considered one of the best on the Peruvian Cajon.
